Giants Declined Trade Offers For Evan Engram
4 years agoThe New York Giants received multiple inquiries and offers for tight end Evan Engram at the trade deadline last week, according to sources. The Giants decided to keep Engram unless they were offered a first-round pick for his services. New York is now looking for the tight end to validate their decision to hang onto him, starting in Week 9 against the Washington Football Team. Engram caught five of 10 targets for 61 yards last Monday night against the Buccaneers, and he continues to be heavily targeted in this offense. Even though New York's offense hasn't been the best, Engram profiles as a TE1 because of his involvement in the offense, and they should continue to look his way plenty. He's still looking for his first receiving touchdown of the season.
