Richie James Jr. Explodes For 184 Yards On Thursday Night
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Richie James Jr. was the offensive highlight for the team in their 34-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night. James caught nine of his 13 targets for 184 yards and a touchdown. It was the first game in which James was active this year, and he certainly made it count. A third-year receiver, James had a total of just 15 catches over his first two NFL seasons. The 49ers were extremely short-handed at receiver in this game, so they needed someone like James to step up. Unfortunately for James, the team has 10 days off before their Week 10 game, which should allow many of their top receivers to be active next time they step on the field.
