Jordan Reed A Low-End TE1 If Active In Week 9
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end Jordan Reed (knee) returned to practice on a limited basis this week, but is still on Injured Reserve and should be considered questionable for Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers. If Reed is able to go, he might see himself with a heavy workload right out of the gate as the team is currently in desperate need of pass-catchers. Starting tight end George Kittle (foot) is out for at least a month and the team will also be without Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and Kendrick Bourne (COVID) in this game. If Reed plays, he could be the team's second option in the passing game behind Brandon Aiyuk. He's worth taking a shot on as a low-end TE1 in Week 9 and he is also a solid player to add and stash on your bench.
