Javon Wims' Two-Game Suspension Upheld
4 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Javon Wims' two-game suspension for punching Saints defensive back Chauncey Gardner-Johnson in the helmet in Week 8 was upheld by appeals officer James Thrash, according to a source. Wims will miss the next two games against the Titans and Vikings. The 26-year-old violated the league's personal conduct rules by inciting a brawl last Sunday. The seventh-round pick in 2018 has just five catches on eight targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in eight games this year and is not fantasy relevant in Chicago's mediocre offense.
