Ravens Defense Could Be Short-Handed Sunday
4 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens placed linebackers Matt Judon, Patrick Queen, Malik Harrison and L.J. Fort, offensive guard Tyre Phillips, defensive back DeShon Elliott and practice-squad defensive back Terrell Bonds on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday because they were deemed high-risk close contacts of cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who tested positive for COVID-19 this week. Humphrey will be out for the Week 9 game against the Colts, and none of the players will practice this week. All of the high-risk close contacts should be on track to be cleared by Sunday if they pass five days of testing. Check back later in the week to confirm that all of these close contacts are actually cleared to play against Indy. The Ravens Defense didn't perform well last week against Pittsburgh, but they should be a top-five unit this week against the Colts.
