Lions Place Jarrad Davis On COVID-19 List
4 years agoThe Detroit Lions placed linebacker Jarrad Davis on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday. Davis, the 21st overall pick in the first round in 2017, will not be eligible to play in Week 9 against the Vikings, which is good news for Vikings star running back Dalvin Cook. The 24-year-old has recorded 18 tackles (10 solo), three QB hits and two forced fumbles in seven games this year with Detroit. Davis has been a solid contributor in the middle of Detroit's defense, but it hasn't resulted in fantasy relevant numbers for those in IDP leagues. The Lions also rank 30th in the NFL in overall fantasy points, so the Lions Defense isn't a unit that you should be looking to use in Week 9 in their divisional matchup with Minnesota.
