Leonard Fournette Turns 18 Touches Into 71 Scrimmage Yards
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette saw a team-high 18 touches and picked up 71 scrimmage yards en route to a 25-23 victory over the Giants. Fournette saw increased playing time after fellow back Ronald Jones II had a bad fumble, as the former played 51 of 69 total snaps. The former Jaguar didn't look particularly impressive, getting met near the line of scrimmage on the majority of his runs. Still, Fournette has out-touched Jones II in each of the last two games and seems to have a slight edge on this backfield heading into a pivotal matchup with New Orleans.
