4 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers had been non-existent for the first seven weeks of the season, but he finally showed some life in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins. He finished second on the team in touches and targets with nine carries for 35 yards to go with one reception for 19 yards. The one reason to be wary was that he only got touches due to the game script, as the team was out of this game relatively early. If they're going to get him more touches moving forward, he could enter the RB2 conversation, but, with a difficult slate of games coming up, it's unlikely he's a legitimate option for fantasy.--Gage Bridgford - RotoBaller
