4 years agoNew York Giants running back Devonta Freeman (ankle) missed his second straight practice on Friday. Freeman was injured in the Week 7 loss to the Giants and doesn't look likely to play on Monday night this week against the Buccaneers. Wayne Gallman took over the majority of backfield touches last Thursday after Freeman went down, and he'd likely be the beneficiary on Monday if Freeman is inactive. Dion Lewis would likely be sprinkled in as a change-of-pace back. Still, nobody from this running game should be trusted as anything more than a low-upside RB3/flex this Monday against a Tampa defensive front that has been one of the best in the NFL in slowing down opposing rushing attacks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
