Cowboys Moving On From Dontari Poe, Daryl Worley
4 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys have told defensive tackle Dontari Poe and cornerback Daryl Worley that they'll be released on Wednesday if the team cannot find a trade partner for them, according to sources. With Dallas sitting at 2-5 and with an atrocious defense, they're making drastic changes. It started on Tuesday when they shipped veteran defensive end Everson Griffen to the Lions in a trade. The moves will allow some of the team's younger players to get some valuable experience in what is shaping up to be a lost season in Big D. The Cowboys Defense ranks 27th in the NFL in total fantasy points through seven weeks and they have allowed the most points (243) in the league as well. Stay far away from them in Week 8 against the Eagles.
