Nelson Agholor (WR, LV) - Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups

ANALYSIS: Slowly but surely, Nelson Agholor is finding his place and making Philly fans miss him this season. Prior to Week 4, Agholor had not been more than a glorified über-efficient player barely used in Las Vegas with completely unsustainable outcomes. He had 4 receptions on 5 targets for 74 yards combined. But since Week 4 (included), Agholor has been put in a much better usage-position and he's been able to keep up his great efficiency numbers.

In Las Vegas' last three games, Agholor has been targeted 4, 2, and a season-high 9 teams this past Sunday. He's caught 11 of those 15 passes for 218 yards, has scored a touchdown in each of those games, and over the full season, he has yet to drop from 11 yards per reception in any single match. Agholor finished W7 as the WR13, and prior to that, he was the WR27 and WR26 in Weeks 4 and 5 respectively, which is to say a borderline WR2.

While Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow are above him in the pecking order (and Henry Ruggs is coming, too), it was encouraging to see Agholor co-lead the team in targets (9) this past weekend while leading all Raiders in yards (107), and finishing as the only TD-scorer along with Waller.

Agholor's rostership is just ridiculous at this point, so don't be the fantasy GM that ends regretting not adding him while he's still there available for free. Weekly WR3/FLEX start in deeper leagues with upside to finish as a W2 without much effort, as the Raiders lack passing options.
