Deebo Samuel A Solid WR3 Option In Week 7
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel had a strong showing in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams, catching all six of his targets for 66 yards and a touchdown. Going forward, Samuel figures to be the team's primary wide receiver and second option overall in the passing game behind tight end George Kittle. The 49ers have a tough matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 7. The Patriots are allowing just 219.8 passing yards per game, which ranks ninth in the league. Regardless, Samuel should still see enough opportunities to warrant starting him as a WR3 this week. Expect him to see around eight targets in the game, giving him a good chance to gain around 80 yards and potentially find the end zone as well.
