Sterling Shepard Activated From Injured Reserve
4 years agoThe New York Giants activated wide receiver Sterling Shepard (toe) from Injured Reserve on Thursday, and he'll be eligible to play on Thursday night against the Eagles. Shepard was expected to be one of the team's leading receivers in 2020, but he missed the last four games due to turf toe. In the first six quarters of the season, Shepard caught eight passes for 76 yards. He's the team's longest-tenured player and has started 54 of the 55 regular season games that he's played in and has 255 career catches for 2,838 yards and 17 touchdowns. The 27-year-old is certainly worth owning in 12-team leagues after leading the Giants in receiving last year, but he's a risky option for your starting lineups this week and could have his snap count limited in his first game back.
