Melvin Gordon III Returns To Practice Thursday
4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III returned to practice on Thursday. Gordon was charged with driving under the influence earlier in the week, and head coach Vic Fangio is currently undecided on whether the team will allow Gordon to play in the Week 6 matchup with the Patriots. The NFL could also hand down a two- or three-game suspension, although Gordon could appeal it and still play this weekend. He's coming off his best game as a Bronco, albeit against the lowly Jets, running for over 100 yards and two scores in Week 4. If Gordon does play on Sunday, he'll be more of a shaky RB2 with Phillip Lindsay (toe) returning to the fold in the backfield for the first time since the season-opener. Be prepared for the possibility of Gordon not playing at all, too.
