4 years agoJacksonville Jaguars kicker Jon Brown will be the fifth kicker used by the team this year when he attempts a field goal or extra point in Week 6 against the Lions on Sunday. The Jaguars will become the first team in NFL history to have a different player attempt a field goal or PAT in five straight games. Josh Lambo (hip) suffered a hip injury in Week 2 and has been on Injured Reserve since. Jacksonville also used Brandon Wright in Week 3, but he was also injured, prompting the team to move on to Stephen Hauschka and Aldrick Rosas. Both Hauschka and Rosas suffered injuries and were unable to kick, prompting the move to Brown. Brown is a former soccer player from Kentucky and spent time with the Bengals and 49ers after going undrafted in 2016.
