Jerick McKinnon Has Just Three Touches In Week 5
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon had a disappointing showing in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins. McKinnon rushed the ball only once for zero yards and caught two of his four targets for five yards in the game. The 49ers' top running back Raheem Mostert made his return in this game after a two-game absence and dominated touches with 11 carries and three receptions. McKinnon should be more involved going forward in games where the team doesn't get blown out. This week, the 49ers lost 43-17 to the Dolphins and starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was benched at the half. McKinnon should remain on rosters in all leagues and will be a flex option in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams.
