George Kittle Set To Flourish In Week 5
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle had quite the return to action in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kittle caught all 15 of his targets for 183 yards and a touchdown. The performance was all the more impressive given the shaky quarterback play the team had in the game as backup quarterback Nick Mullens struggled so much that he was benched for the team's No. 3 quarterback, C.J. Beathard. In Week 5, the 49ers could have their starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) back under center as they face a Miami Dolphins Defense allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game in the league this year (285). Regardless of whoever is throwing passes for the 49ers this week, start Kittle with confidence as a high-end TE1 in Week 5 and expect another big outing.
