James Conner Eyes Third Straight 100-Yard Outing In Week 5
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner entered what would have been his fourth game of the season against Tennessee this past weekend with back-to-back 100-yard games under his belt. But instead, his fourth game of the year comes this Sunday versus Philadelphia after the Titans’ COVID-19 outbreak. While the Eagles have been stingy against the run thus far in 2020 (108.8 yards per game), they’ve faced a collective group that included Washington, the Rams, and the 49ers, who were without Raheem Mostert. Conner has proven to be an adept pass-catching threat over the past three years as well, averaging 8.4 yards per reception in that span. He holds RB2 appeal in most season-long formats due to his role as the team’s unquestioned No. 1 back.
