Ricky Stenhouse Jr. A Viable DFS Play At Talladega
4 years agoJTG-Daugherty Racing's Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will start from the 26th position in Sunday's YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Stenhouse and the No. 47 team have had a rough month, with only two top-20 finishes in the last six races. Stenhouse circles the calendar when the Cup Series heads to a superspeedway track, as he has become one of the premier superspeedway drivers. His only two career Cup Series victories were at Daytona and Talladega, and Stenhouse was inches short of winning at the 2.66-mile track in June. In 14 career starts at Talladega, Stenhouse has a win, six top-fives, and nine top-10 finishes. Stenhouse's DFS salary is very manageable, coming in just a shade above average. Stenhouse is always a threat to get to the front of the pack, giving him massive upside in position differential. Stenhouse is a high-risk, high-reward selection for lineups.
