Kendrick Bourne Not A Starting Option In Week 4
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne leads the team in receiving yards so far this year with 164, but the feat is really just due to the fact that he's been the only active pass-catcher for all three games this year. In Week 4, the 49ers will have star tight end George Kittle back for the first time in Week 1. Kittle figures to be the team's primary target in the pass game in Week 4. Also working against Bourne is the fact that rookie Brandon Aiyuk out-targeted and out-performed him in Week 3. Bourne missed his opportunity to establish himself while the team was in need of receiving options. He can remain on waivers in all leagues and isn't a viable starting option in Week 4.
