4 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras has been scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against Reynaldo Lopez and the Chicago White Sox. Contreras was originally slated to play designated hitter in the game, but manager David Ross stated that Javier Baez wanted extra at-bats, so Baez will be filling the designated hitter spot on Sunday and batting fifth. Contreras was an elite catcher in fantasy once again this year, slashing .243/.356/.407 with seven home runs, 26 RBI and 37 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
