4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert is getting the day off on Thursday as the team wraps up a four-game series against the Cleveland Indians. Jarrod Dyson is covering center field in the game and batting ninth. Robert has had a phenomenal rookie year, with 11 home runs, 30 RBI, 30 runs and eight stolen bases. However, he's in the midst of a bit of a cold stretch. He's hitless over his last 26 at-bats with 14 strikeouts. His 33% strikeout rate on the season is certainly a bit troubling, but it's something he can work to improve over the offseason. Expect to see him back in the lineup on Friday, when the team opens up a three-game series against the Chicago Cubs to close out the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
