4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford could surprise in fantasy heading into the team's Week 3 matchup against the Cardinals. It has been a brutal start for the Lions combined with mediocre production from the Lions offense. Stafford, through two games, has passed for three touchdowns, two interceptions and is completing only 58.7% of his passes. He will go up against a Cardinals Defense that is allowing the seventh fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. But Arizona has lined up against Jimmy Garoppolo and Dwayne Haskins Jr., two quarterbacks that do not enjoy the talent that Stafford possesses. With star receiver Kenny Golladay returning to practice and on course to play in Week 3, Stafford could finally fulfill the fantasy buzz he garnered in the offseason.--Joey C - RotoBaller
