Niko Price Hurts His Outcome With Point Deduction
4 years agoNiko Price (14-4-1) ended up in a draw with veteran Donald Cerrone. Had Price not lost a point for multiple eye pokes, he would have won via split decision. Price put on a striking display, landing 150 significant strikes (10 significant strikes per minute.) As expected, neither fighter landed a takedown in this bout. Late in the first round, the referee was forced to deduct a point from Price, who had previously been warned for leaving his hands open with fingers toward Cerrone's face. Price is always up for a striking battle and can be considered a similar style fighter to that of Cowboy.
