Jon Berti Plays Simulated Game Thursday
4 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Jon Berti (finger) played in a simulated game on Thursday and suffered no setbacks. The 30-year-old has been out of the lineup since Sept. 7 with a finger contusion. Berti was slashing .250/.354/.354 with two homers, 10 RBI, 18 runs scored, and eight stolen bases through 96 at-bats. Any fantasy managers desperate for steals in the final week of the season could pick up Berti for the end of their bench.
