Dustin May Throws Five Innings In Relief Wednesday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Dustin May (foot) was scratched from his start on Wednesday, but he ended up pitching 5 1/3 innings in relief against the San Diego Padres. He allowed three runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk while striking out six batters. Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts seems to be tinkering with the usage of his starting pitchers before the postseason, meaning May could start behind an opener again in his next appearance. Regardless, the 23-year-old is a fantastic fantasy asset whenever he takes the mound, as evidenced by his 2.68 ERA and 34/11 K/BB rate through 47 innings.
