4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson is being placed on the Family Medical Emergency List and will not be part of the team for at least the next few days. The Dodgers are facing San Diego Padres left-hander Adrian Morejon on Wednesday, so Pederson wasn't going to be starting in Wednesday's game anyways. Pederson has been given just seven at-bats against lefties this year. Pederson started the team's three previous games, which were all started by opposing right-handed pitchers. It's been a rough month of September for Pederson, who is just 2-for-24 at the plate this month. Pederson is required to spend a minimum of three days on the Family Medical Emergency List.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
