Matthew Stafford Could Struggle Again In Week 2
4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford will face another NFC North rival in Week 2 against the Packers. Stafford passed for 297 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the team's loss to the Bears in Week 1 but completed only 57.1% of his passes. The veteran passer got off to a strong start but completely disappeared in the second half and now will face a Packers Defense that was really tough on quarterbacks in 2019. Green Bay's defense allowed the fourth fewest fantasy points last season to opposing passers, including 17 interceptions. Stafford may also be without top wide receiver Kenny Golladay, further sending Stafford outside of the top-12 among quarterbacks for Week 2.
