Tony Gonsolin Tosses Seven Effective Innings Tuesday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starter Tony Gonsolin allowed one run on four hits across seven innings of work during Tuesday's 3-1 win over the San Diego Padres. He struck out two batters without issuing a walk. It was a brilliant performance for Gonsolin, against one of the league's highest-powered offenses. The 26-year-old now owns a 1.51 ERA, 0.79 WHIP, and 30/6 K/BB rate through 35 2/3 innings in 2020. Gonsolin heads to Coors Field to take on the Colorado Rockies in his next projected start, but he remains a top-tier fantasy asset unless your pitching ratios are already minuscule.
