BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 40% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds was a big offensive spark for the team in their Week 1 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Edmonds carried the ball six times for 26 yards and caught three passes for 19 yards and a touchdown on five targets.
The Cardinals' No. 1 running back Kenyan Drake led the team in carries (16) and rushing yards (60) and dominated snaps overall, with 58 offensive snaps compared with Edmonds' 28. However, no other running back saw the field, which is good news for both of the team's ball-carriers.
Edmonds projects to see around ten total touches per game going forward. In an offense with as much upside as Arizona's, ten touches can go a long, long way, especially when a solid percentage of them will be in the passing game.
Edmonds is worth adding in leagues of 12 teams or deeper, especially in PPR leagues. The Cardinals face the Washington Football Team in Week 2 and Edmonds can be deployed as a flex or even potentially an RB2 in deep PPR leagues in the matchup.
