Jerick McKinnon Catches Touchdown In 49ers Debut
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon made his long-awaited debut with the team in Week 1 and helped give the offense a bit of a spark. McKinnon carried the ball three times for 24 yards and reeled in three catches for 20 yards and a touchdown. McKinnon signed with the 49ers prior to the 2018 season, but tore his ACL before the season started. He then missed the entirety of the 2019 season after a setback from knee surgery in the preseason. Raheem Mostert led all 49ers running backs in carries with 15 and was also active in the passing game with four catches on five targets. McKinnon should certainly have a role in the offense going forward and is someone worth adding in deep PPR leagues and monitoring in all leagues.
