4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo had a solid 2020 debut, completing 19 of 33 passes for 259 and two interceptions. He had a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, but didn't have much help in the receiving game with both Deebo Samuel (foot) and Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) inactive. The Cardinals put a lot of their attention on tight end George Kittle, who was limited to four catches for 44 yards in the game. While Garoppolo remains without his primary pass catchers, his upside is a bit limited.
