Larry Fitzgerald Catches Four Passes For 34 Yards In Week 1
4 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald had a quiet game in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers. Fitzgerald was targeted five times by Kyler Murray and came away with four catches for 34 yards. His five targets were tied for second on the team alongside Christian Kirk and running back Chase Edmonds. The bulk of the team's targets went to DeAndre Hopkins, who received 16. All in all, it wasn't an awful day for Fitzgerald in PPR, but given his lack of target depth, he'll need a bit more than five targets per week to warrant a regular starting spot going forward. For now, he remains a low-ceiling WR3 or flex option in PPR leagues.
