4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott will fire off from the 12th position in Saturday night's Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway. Elliott led late in last week's Southern 500 before he and Martin Truex Jr. tangled while battling for the win. Outside of 2018, when he had two top-five finishes, Elliott has struggled in his career at Richmond. In his other seven starts, he has just one other top-10 finish. Elliott will have some appeal in DFS for position differential, but his salary lowers his value. Elliott and the No. 9 team have been the strongest Chevy team this year, and he will most likely have a decent run, but other high-end drivers around Elliott would be better lineup selections.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
