Martin Truex Jr. Going For Three In A Row At Richmond
4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Martin Truex Jr. will roll off from the 14th position in Saturday night's Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway. Truex will look to bounce back after giving away a victory in last week's Southern 500, when he pushed the limit, passing for the lead. Truex has been on fire, and before that unfortunate finish, he had scored eight straight top-five finishes. Now he heads to Richmond, where he swept both races in 2019. Since moving to the Toyota camp, Truex has been dominant at Richmond, leading 100-plus laps in six of the eight races. Truex will have a lot of upside for DFS lineups, starting outside the top-10. He is an expensive choice but is one of the better-valued high-end drivers. Look for a motivated Truex to show up and make amends for last week's misstep.
