The Detroit Tigers have called up yet another prospect, outfielder Daz Cameron. The team's No. 7 overall prospect according to MLB Pipeline, Cameron will bat seventh and play right field in his MLB debut on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Cameron played 120 games at Triple-A last year and slashed .214/.330/.377 with 13 home runs and 17 stolen bases. While it's unlikely he'll make much of an impact in redraft fantasy leagues this year, he could be worth watching for dynasty owners as he could provide a solid combination of power and stolen bases.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller

The Milwaukee Brewers announced on Monday that they acquired outfielder Daz Cameron and cash considerations from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for left-hander Grant Wolfram. Cameron will head to the National League Central after spending the 2024 season with the Athletics, slashing just .200/.258/.329 with five home runs, 15 RBI, five stolen bases and 22 runs scored in 66 games played. The 28-year-old son of former big-leaguer Mike Cameron started the 2025 season at Triple-A Norfolk and had gone 4-for-18 with a double, three RBI, two walks and six strikeouts in his first five games. Cameron will likely be assigned to Triple-A Norfolk after the trade to Milwaukee and serve as minor-league depth in the organization. In four big-league seasons, Cameron has a weak .201/.263/.330 slash line, .593 OPS, 10 homers, 39 RBI and 14 steals in 139 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

According to the team, the Baltimore Orioles have designated outfielder Daz Cameron for assignment. This transaction opened a roster spot for Roansy Contreras, who the team claimed off waivers from the New York Yankees earlier on Friday. Last season, Cameron logged 66 contests with the Oakland Athletics. During this stint, the 28-year-old posted a .200/.258/.329 line with five doubles, five home runs, and five stolen bases. Across 139 career games at the MLB level, Cameron has held a similar .201/.263/.330 line. Through 423 career games at Triple-A, the outfielder has posted a .250/.339/.427 slash line. Fantasy managers should expect Cameron to spend most of the 2025 season at the Triple-A level, given his lack of success in the major leagues.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Oakland Athletics outfielder Daz Cameron was traded to the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday in exchange for cash considerations. The 27-year-old appeared in 66 games in Oakland last summer and held a .200/.258/.329 line with five home runs, 15 RBI, and five stolen bases. Cameron previously spent time in the Baltimore organization playing with Triple-A Norfolk during the 2023 season. With Norfolk, Cameron posted a .268/.364/.452 slash line with 16 home runs and 23 stolen bases. The 27-year-old will likely be in the mix for the a spot on the Opening Day Roster but will have few opportunities given how deep the current Baltimore outfield is, consisting of Colton Cowser, Cedric Mullins, and Anthony Santander.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Cameron appeared in 21 games for the American League Central franchise in 2022, logging a .219 average, a .286 on-base percentage, a home run, and a pair of stolen bases in 70 plate appearances. He'll give the Orioles some additional outfield depth. Baltimore's current outfield options on the team's 40-man roster now include Cameron, Cedric Mullins, Anthony Santander, Jake Cave, Yusniel Diaz, Austin Hays, Ryan McKenna, and Kyle Stowers.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
