Jared Goff Should Be A Solid QB2 In 2020
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff threw for 4,638 yards, 22 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 2019. It was a disappointing output after a breakout 2018 campaign in which he compiled 4,688 yards, 32 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions. This year, Goff will be without running back Todd Gurley for the first time in his career. Goff also won't have the dynamic Brandin Cooks at his disposal. Gurley's departure could help Goff as it should require him to throw the ball more and give him additional touchdown opportunities. However, the main allure with Goff is the fact that he has the innovative offensive mind of Sean McVay working for him. Draft Goff as your second quarterback in two-QB leagues and he should provide solid returns.
