4 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus is back in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He sat the team's previous two games as Anderson Tejeda got the start at shortstop. Rangers manager Chris Woodward revealed over the weekend that Andrus would no longer be an everyday player for the team as the young Tejada would get more of an extended look. While that's of course awful news for Andrus's fantasy status, it's yet to be seen how often Andrus will actually be on the bench. The scare alone makes Andrus a drop candidate in just about all leagues, especially given the depth at shortstop in fantasy.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
