Robert Gsellman Out Of Mets Rotation
4 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Robert Gsellman has been moved back to the team’s bullpen after making four consecutive starts in his last four appearances. Gsellman’s move to the bullpen isn’t much of a surprise as he was primarily used as an opener and never threw more than 60 pitches in a start, and Michael Wacha will rejoin the team’s rotation in his place. Gsellman still probably isn’t worth rostering in most leagues given his career 4.55 ERA and 18.6% strikeout rate, but his shift back to the bullpen boosts his value as it gives him a chance to pick up holds for the Mets.
