4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder/designated hitter Jorge Soler (back) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Chicago White Sox. Soler dealt with oblique irritation and mid-back tightness following Wednesday's game this past week and sat out the next game on Thursday. He returned on Friday, but went 0-for-5 and was then pulled after just one at-bat in Saturday's game. It certainly seems as if Soler could be headed for a stint on the Injured List, but keep an eye on the situation before making any major moves. Ryan McBroom is serving as the team's designated hitter in Soler's place on Sunday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
