4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is getting the day off on Sunday as the team faces Jacob deGrom and the New York Mets. It's nothing more than a much-deserved day off for Realmuto who has started in all but three games for the Phillies this year up until today. In order to keep his bat in the lineup, the Phillies have started Realmuto at not only catcher, but also first base and designated hitter this year. Realmuto has had a fantastic season, slashing .260/.338/.512 with nine home runs, 26 RBI and 24 runs.
