Tevin Coleman To Serve As No. 2 Behind Raheem Mostert
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman was the top running back on the team to own going into last year. However, he had some injuries in 2019 and wasn't as effective on the field as his teammate, Raheem Mostert. This year, Mostert will be the team's lead back to enter the season, but don't write off Coleman completely. Coleman had surgery on his right shoulder during the offseason, but has made a full recovery and is completely healthy going into the year. He had success with 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan when Shanahan was the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons and Coleman has shown a more well-rounded game in his NFL career than Mostert has. Mostert has just 20 career receptions while Coleman has topped 20 receptions in each of the past four years. There's no need to draft Coleman in fantasy leagues at this point, but keep an eye on him going forward.
