Raiders Releasing Damarious Randall
4 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders are releasing veteran safety Damarious Randall on Friday, according to sources. The team owes Randall a $1.5 million fully guaranteed base salary, but that figure will be reduced by whatever he receives from his new team. The 28-year-old former first-round pick of the Packers lost out on a starting safety job in training camp. He had 61 tackles, 2.5 sacks and six passes defensed in 11 games for the Browns in 2019. Randall also recorded a career-high 85 tackles, four interceptions and nine passes defensed in his first year with Cleveland in 2018. He should land on his feet as safety depth with another organization.
