Jace Sternberger Having Quiet Camp
4 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Jace Sternberger entered training camp with hopes of becoming a breakout player in the offense this season but has had a "quiet" camp, according to Packers reporter Andy Herman. The second-year player missed the first half of last season due to injuries and largely was non-existent when returned to the field. But many speculated that Sternberger, not teammate Marcedes Lewis, would be the one to attract the eye of quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the passing game among tight ends in 2020. That hasn't materialized in practice to this point, making Sternberger an even more risky selection in upcoming fantasy drafts as a late-round flier.
