With the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez hit a two-run single to walk off the Orioles 6-5 on Sunday. He finished the game going 2-for-5 as the cleanup hitter, a place in the lineup where he’s thrived this season. Hernandez has put together a sublime year with 12 homers, 22 runs, 22 RBI, five steals, and a .306 BA, proving to be one of the more surprising players of 2020. The 27-year-old still owns a high 28.2% K-rate, but it’s yet to truly impact his statistical performance this season.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (groin) is reportedly making progress in his recovery from a Grade 1 adductor strain. Hernandez was placed on the injured list earlier in the week, but will hopefully be able to return when first eligible. The right-handed slugger has begun hitting in the batting cage and is expected to take live at-bats at some point during the next homestand. Fantasy managers should hold Hernandez through the injury. Before going down, Hernandez was hitting .315/.333/.600 with nine home runs and 34 RBI in 33 games. In his absence, Andy Pages should see more time in right field while James Outman could see extra playing time as well.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts sounded much more optimistic about outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (groin) on Wednesday. Roberts said he's hopeful that Hernandez will return from the 10-day injured list in two weeks. Hernandez was put on the IL on Tuesday after he was diagnosed with a Grade 1 left-adductor strain of his groin. It's good news that the 32-year-old veteran's injury was deemed mild, but we'll have a better idea of when he might rejoin the Dodgers once he resumes baseball activities. Barring a setback, fantasy managers should have Hernandez back before the end of May. The two-time All-Star has been money for fantasy managers in the potent Dodgers lineup, as he entered Wednesday's action tied with Pete Alonso and Aaron Judge with the most RBI in the league at 34. He's also hitting .315 (41-for-130) with nine home runs, 21 runs and four steals. Keep Hernandez stashed everywhere.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (groin) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a Grade 1 left-adductor strain, according to manager Dave Roberts. The Dodgers initially called Hernandez's injury hamstring tightness when he was pulled from Monday's series opener against the Miami Marlins. It remains to be seen when the 32-year-old slugger will return to the Dodgers, but it's good news that his groin strain wasn't all that severe. Fantasy managers should obviously be stashing Hernandez, who entered Tuesday's play as the MLB leader with 34 RBI in 33 games played. The Dodgers called up outfielder James Outman from Triple-A Oklahoma City, and he is starting in center field and batting eighth on Tuesday against Marlins right-hander Cal Quantrill. Andy Pages is in right field and is in the two-hole.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Los Angeles Dodgers will place outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's contest against the Miami Marlins. Hernandez exited Monday's game early due to left hamstring tightness. According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register, outfielder James Outman has joined the team in Miami. Hernandez has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, boasting a .315/.333/.600 slash line with nine home runs and four stolen bases. Under the hood, the 32-year-old has generated an elite .316 xBA with a strong .370 xwOBA. While Hernandez is sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Outman, Chris Taylor, and Andy Pages to see time in right field. When Pages shifts to right field, Hyeseong Kim would likely cover center field.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
