Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run and a stolen base in Monday's victory over the Reds. Yelich's batting average on the season is still below the Mendoza Line, but that's still mainly a product of his extremely slow start. Over his last 20 games Yelich reached base at a .407 clip and also added 11 extra-base hits, 12 RBI, 17 runs and two steals. It's simply only a matter of time before Yelich gets hot, fantasy owners should remain patient with the star player.--James Stokke

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich starred in Tuesday’s 11-3 blowout win over the San Francisco Giants. Yelich went 2-for-5 with a 407-foot grand slam in the sixth inning that broke the game open, giving the Brewers a 9-1 lead. He also doubled in the third, finishing the night with seven total bases and two runs scored. Yelich's hard-hit percentage (52.8%) and average exit velocity (91.9 mph) rank above the 80th percentile this season, suggesting potential for a jump in his numbers as April nears its end. Overall, the 33-year-old is slashing .222/.337/.444 with five home runs, 19 RBI, and five stolen bases across 95 plate appearances in 2025. Yelich and the Brewers will look to stay hot against Logan Webb on Wednesday.--Julian Brooke - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich is taking a seat for Monday's series opener against the visiting Detroit Tigers at American Family Field with left-hander Tarik Skubal on the mound. Yelich will get a day of rest after starting each of the team's last 10 games. Isaac Collins will serve as the team's designated hitter on Monday night and will bat second against Skubal. Coming off offseason back surgery, Yelich does have three home runs in his first 16 games, but he's also hitting only .143 (8-for-56) in the early going with a double, 10 RBI, eight walks and 16 strikeouts in 65 plate appearances. Fantasy managers shouldn't start panicking yet, but he's been a disappointment after a very strong start in 2024. Collins is in a prime spot in the batting order but will be avoided by most DFS gamers against Skubal. The switch-hitter has gone 5-for-21 with no homers, two runs and two stolen bases so far this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich turned in a big game in a 17-2 blowout win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday. Yelich went 2-for-5 with a homer, two runs, two RBI, and a steal to help lead his team to the win. The veteran outfielder ripped a solo homer to center field as part of a seven-run ninth inning. Yelich is off to a quiet start in 2025, hitting just .171 with three homers, six runs, eight RBI, and three steals across 41 at-bats. Patience is key here as Yelich has a long track record of being a starting-caliber fantasy outfielder.--Matt T - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich will retreat to the bench on Wednesday for the series finale against the visiting Kansas City Royals at American Family Field with left-hander Cole Ragans on the mound. With Yelich getting a breather, Isaac Collins will serve as the designated hitter for Milwaukee and will hit third in the batting order. The 33-year-old Yelich has gotten off to a slow start in 2025 after undergoing offseason back surgery, going 2-for-16 in his first five games, but he did hit his first long ball of the year on Tuesday night. It's still early in the season and it was nice to see Yelich go yard on Tuesday, but the Brewers could continue to give him built-in off days, especially against left-handers, as they ease him in from his offseason back procedure. Collins, 27, has gone 3-for-6 in four games in the early going with two doubles and a run scored for the Brewers and is in a nice lineup spot on Wednesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
