Brad Keller Struggles Against Cardinals On Monday
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller entered Monday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals with a flawless 0.00 ERA through three starts on the year. Unfortunately, his scoreless streak came to an end in the first inning of Monday's game after a Paul DeJong sacrifice fly and things only got worse after that. Keller pitched four innings in the game, allowing six hits, three walks and five earned runs while striking out four. He was tagged with his first loss of the year in the game. On the bright side, Keller didn't give up a home run in the game and is still excelling overall in limiting hard contact on the year. His next start will be on Sunday against the Chicago White Sox.
