Albert Pujols Passes A-Rod On RBI List
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Albert Pujols passed Alex Rodriguez on the all-time RBI list in the fifth inning of the Angels 11-4 loss to the Astros. Pujols now has 2,087 runs batted in and is second in baseball history behind only Hank Aaron with 2,297. The single that drove in teammate Mike Trout was his lone hit of the game and Pujols now has 12 runs batted in on the season. The future Hall of Famer has struggled this season, slashing only .211/.250/.368 but has at least one hit in each of his last five starts. Pujols carries little value in standard fantasy formats but is a source of power in deeper, AL-only leagues.
