Leonard Williams In Line To Bounce Back?
4 years agoNew York Giants new defensive line coach Sean Spencer has high hopes for defensive end Leonard Williams in 2020 in his first full season with the team. Spencer thinks the 26-year-old former Pro Bowler is a "tremendous athlete." "I think he's starting to put it all together," Spencer said. "He's always had the tools. He's working on refining his craft right now. He looks strong and powerful. I'm just happy with his progress right now." Williams is on the franchise tag this year, but he'll need to produce in order to stay in the Big Apple past this season. The former sixth overall pick of the Jets in 2015 had 46 combined tackles, 16 QB hits and just half a sack in 15 games with the Giants and Jets in 2019. Williams is off the fantasy radar in IDP leagues for now.
