4 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman and outfielder Sam Haggerty went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a walk in Sunday's win over the Rangers. Haggerty had recently been promoted to the majors and has started every game since. The home run is nice, but power is definitely not Haggerty's strong suit. Through 408 games in the minors, Haggerty only has 15 home runs, however he does have 113 stolen bases and already has two steals with the Mariners since coming up. It's unsure how often the Mariners want Haggerty to start as they have multiple options for depth, but in a daily lineup league, Haggerty could be a sneaky steals source.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
